Just a quick note to thank you for making our wedding day so special from the church music and throughout the night!! You were amazing, all our guests are still talking about how great it was. I think the dance off to ACDC with the groom and bestman will hold many memories for everyone! 

Thanks also for our surprise dance which was great fun. We will definitely be recomending you to all our friends in the future, thanks again for everything.

Apologies for the delay in thanking you for a wonderful day on Saturday July 2nd 2011, Myself and Lina were both delighted with how the day went. Everything was perfect from the church music right through until you finished as DJ. I received so much positive feedback. Its hard to know where to begin. Is there a place where you would like me to do a more substantial review?

Ironically enough the only negative part for us was that the weather was so nice and meant people wanted to stay out (again bitter sweet!), I was very impressed with how you and the band were actually able to beat the weather and encourage people to come in! I have no hesitations in recommending Blacktye to anyone that asks.

Hi Daragh and Blacktye, 

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for the huge part you played in our wedding on the 6 th June in Summerhill. 

Everyone was raving about how great you were, and you remembered all the songs we wanted played, and learned new ones to perfection. You also kept everyone involved and up dancing. We especially loved the air guitar competition, and the dirty dancing bit. 

It was really important to us to have a live band, and a good one at that. You guys exceeded our expectations, and I would recommend you to anyone.

Firstly, sincere apologies for not even speaking to you or the band on the night of our wedding. (8th Jan 2011)
We were having such a good time dancing with the all the guests that we just forgot to say hello - never mind thank you!
 
We have had fantastic feedback from all our guests - they thought you were a brilliant band.
If you recall the evening, you will know that everyone enjoyed it so much because the dance floor was full ALL night!
It was so busy that my friends were telling me they had to dance on the carpet!
 
You judged the crowd really well and played everything we wanted including the cheesy dance music at the end!

We have now returned home after the excitement of our wedding and reception on the 1st of May at the Howth Golf Club. We would very much like to thank you and your band for the excellent show, in addition of course to the church music and disco. We may be a bit biased but we really have not seen so many people dance from the very first to last song at the wedding reception. We had many comments from our guests on just how good you were that night.

Hi,

I just wanted to thank the band for an amazing performance. They were absolutely fantastic. They rocked the house and kept everyone entertained all night. They were also gracious enough to allow one of our guest join in with them and sing and play the drums.

Edward Sommerville, who is the curator of Lough Cutra Estate, said it was the best band he had heard. He said that they were far better than all the other bands that have come to entertain during all of the weddings that had taken place there over the years. I think he will be recomending Blacktye for any potential bride and grooms planning there wedding there.

Again please send my thanks to all the band members, we had such a great time and the were outstanding, the best!

Thanks for all your help in organizing everything and should I ever need a band in Ireland, I'll know who to call.

Just dropping a quick note now that we are back in the land of the living !! the band were excellent on the day for the wedding , lots of people commented on both the church music and the main performance . My best friend Laura Callaghan just got engaged when we were away and is looking for the band also !!!!
